Betrayal Anyone?

King DingleBarry is mulling tax increases by Imperial Decree (read: Executive Order).

The entirety of this administration shows its bountiful jackassery by skipping Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before a joint session of Congress, calling that speech "dangerous" and "destructive." I guess Iran getting nuclear weapons is not "dangerous" or "destructive."

No less than fifty-five demoKKKrats skip the speech, with those that attended calling it "political theater" and other ridiculous things, never once touching upon the actual substance of the speech.

The Constant Campaigner has recently declared himself above anything Congress does, saying, in effect, that it doesn't matter if Congress - which, need I remind you, is a co-equal branch of government - votes to deny his Royal Edict (and massive overreach) on illegal immigration and its essential amnesty for people whose very first action in our nation is to break the law; he's going to do it anyway - displaying a complete disregard and utter contempt for this country and our history/traditions/culture.

Hillary Clinton, the presumptive demoKKKrat presidential nominee for 2016, is currently under fire as it's now known that the Clinton Foundation took donations from foreign governments - while she was Secretary of State, no less - with, shall we say, less than stellar human rights' records, particularly regarding WOMEN'S rights (which she proclaims to champion). Oh yeah, did I mention that we also learned today that she never used a government email account - which is REQUIRED BY LAW - while conducting official State Department business?

Aaannnddd to top today off, we find out that the Republicans bowed down, ONCE AGAIN, and passed a clean bill funding the Department of Homeland Security - which includes funding King DingleBarry's de facto amnesty executive order. Never mind that the Republicans control both houses of Congress and nothing should get through that isn't approved by said Republicans.

Anyone else feeling a tad..............BETRAYED? ~ Hunter

The Unintended Consequences Of Getting What You Want: Part 2

First, let me apologize for not writing as frequently as I'd planned. Life has had an annoying habit of getting in the way lately, as well as some of the fire being burned out of me due to some infighting with people I thought were friends and fellow conservatives - turns out they were neither. Go figure...

Every once in a while, however, along comes a story that just deserves to get ridiculed, and this is one of them.

The socialist utopia formerly known as the state of California has proposed a new tax. That's not all that shocking, I admit, until you learn just what they're going to tax - fuel efficient cars. They won't be taxing the cars themselves, per se. After all, who would buy the ugly Prius if it got taxed more than that much nicer looking - and almost as fuel efficient - Corolla sitting next to it in the dealership's lot? The government would never do anything quite so........gauche... Would they?

Not when they can tax how many miles you drive every year, they wouldn't. That's right, folks - California State Senator, Mark Desaulnier (a democrat), has proposed a tax....on the miles Californians drive...in their more fuel efficient cars, hybrids, or just plain electric cars...that the environmentalists and the government pushed so hard for people to drive...

Why? Well, as in all things having to do with economics, liberals aren't as smart as they profess themselves to be. See, even with California's ridiculously huge gas tax of almost $0.53 a gallon (but it's the greedy oil companies that are price gouging you, don't ya know?), because hybrids and their ilk are becoming more prevalent and using less gas, the state isn't getting as much revenue from their huge tax. Yes, liberals, that's right - if you tax something that people use, they tend to use less of it, which leads to less tax revenue - which in Liberal-Land apparently means new and/or higher taxes are needed.

Well, we certainly can't ask the government to do with less, can we?

It's difficult to understand how - in a state with roughly 30 million registered vehicles - slightly less than one million of these cars could affect their bottom line so much that a new tax is needed.

Liberals never cease to amaze, do they? Their answers to everything they deem problematic always seem to be one of three options, with very little variation:

Option 1: We just haven't spent enough money on that problem/issue. Let's create yet another government agency to do the same things that this "failed" agency couldn't get done. We need to raise taxes.

Option 2: The government hasn't even tried to fix this problem/issue, so we need to create a new government agency to look into creating a different new government agency that can look into the possibility of thinking about launching a study that might bring about the probability that pondering the possible solutions to this problem/issue would actually solve this problem/issue. We need to raise taxes.

Option 3: We need to raise taxes...

On second thought, they really only have the one option, don't they? ~ Hunter

The Plantation Of Liberalism

A friend posted this bit of wisdom from a friend of her's on her Facebook page. It is worth the read. ~ Hunter
Ferguson , New York City, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans and EVERY OTHER MAJOR BLACK CITY IN AMERICA HAS BEEN RUN BY DEMOCRATS FOR DECADES! Now you are seeing the results of decades of social engineering. You are seeing the results of poverty, high crime and ignorance after decades of Democrat control. The War on Poverty that Lyndon Johnson started has been an abject failure, but that was its intention all along - to breed low educated, low informed dependents of government, for the sake of votes.
Blacks make up 13% of Americas population, but are responsible for most of the crime. They fill the jails, the slums, the neighborhoods where the Democrats want them to live. They keep voting Democrat, but nothing gets better.
Now we have the most divisive and racist President in the history of America. We also have his equally racist henchmen, Eric Holder, who refuses to enforce actual law, as opposed to activist law. They choose to make the criminals victims and the law abiding citizens of America the criminals. Need an example? Executive amnesty.
In reality, these so called activists are extreme hypocrites . Black Lives Matter. Yes they do, except where is your outrage for the hundreds of thousands of black on black killings? I see no marches, hashtags, protests, looting, calls for dialogue and conversation when blacks commit murder a thousand fold on each other. No, only the incidents involving a white individual (not including whited killed by blacks) which can be spun into hate crimes.
Planned Parenthood says Black Lives Matter. Planned Parenthood was created by a Nazi sympathizing Klanswoman named Margaret Sanger, for the purpose of eugenics - it's  population control through abortion in the black community. She's a progressive hero, by the way.
The only thing the Brown and Garner incidents have in common is that they both broke the law and resisted arrest.
FYI, the Garner incident was being overseen by a BLACK FEMALE NYPD SERGEANT, and at no time did she call for any sort of restraint. If what happened in the eyes of a black woman did not appear racist, it shoots the whole argument down that this was a hate crime.
Two grand juries, made up of black and white, two "no bill" decisions, based on evidence from black and white witnesses. Apparently, thanks to a POTUS who constantly breaks the law and gets away with it, that sort of mentality is permeating through the neighborhoods of his voters.
If you want to blame white people, blame Mayor Deblasio of New York. He sent the cops after Garner because he wanted his precious tax money! In fact, you can thank both black and white Democrats, who for decades have segregated blacks into the high crime, high poverty areas they currently occupy. Let's not forget Margaret Sanger, Lyndon Johnson, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, and even Bill Clinton, until he got a Republican Congress.
Black Lives do Matter! It's about time the hypocrisy of picking and choosing what outrages you ends. If you are upset about only two, yet ignore the massive black on black crime , you don't have any sort of argument. If you vote Democrat for decades - the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow and the KKK, the party of segregation, the party of social engineering and eugenics, the party of the government plantation - and you vote Democrat over and over again, and can't understand why nothing has changed for you, you will never find help.

Tax Inversion? We Need THOUGHT Inversion

The U.S. corporate tax rate is among the highest in the world (we used to be among the lowest) and people actually have the audacity to wonder why corporations are leaving these shores?!

The latest company to make the news on this front is Burger King. The federal corporate tax burden on BK is fully 24% of their operating costs and a whopping 34% of their profits!!! Think about that for a minute - 34 cents of every dollar BK has left after paying their costs to run their business is paid to the federal government. None of this includes state and local taxes. The corporate tax encompasses both domestic and international profits, by the way, which is in addition to whatever taxes they pay to the other nations in which they operate.

It's ridiculous to expect a company, any company, to hand over that much of its profit to the government. By the way, don't think for a second that we aren't paying those taxes, as all companies ultimately pass on their expenses to the consumer.

Although Burger King has already stated they're not moving to Canada as part of their deal to purchase Tim Horton's, a Canadian donut and breakfast chain, making such a move would lower the tax burden on their profits a full 25%. What company wouldn't want that?

We need a thorough overhaul of our taxation system, and not just of personal income taxes. To think that doing what's best for your company is somehow "unpatriotic" is ridiculous to the point of absurdity. No company has any more of an "obligation" to keep its headquarters in this nation than any individual - more and more individuals are renouncing their American citizenship every year just because of taxes. That alone should give you pause the next time you think about voting for the socialists of the Left.

Another quick thought for you - the U.S. revolution occurred, in large part, because the colonists believed the tax burden placed upon them by a monarch was too onerous. Companies are fleeing the overbearing tax rate of the U.S., and heading to nations with more favorable corporate tax rates like Canada - which, in the irony of all ironies, is a Constitutional Monarchy. ~ Hunter

Delicious Irony, And Danny Glover Is A Tool

There's nothing like a little irony to lift one's spirits. Danny Glover (yes, that Danny Glover), will lead a rally this coming Saturday in San Francisco, and if you know anything about Mr. Glover's politics at all, you will not believe what the subject of this rally is.

The rally is being held by supporters of Assembly Bill 1839 in an attempt to pressure the California Legislature to offer larger tax breaks for the film and television industry. As it stands right now, California's program is smaller than Georgia's, Louisiana's and New York's rival tax break programs.

According to a flier sent out for the event, "Nearly 40 states and 30 other nations offered nearly $1.5 billion in tax incentives last year to lure jobs and wages out of California, and the percentage of films made in California has gone from 66% to 40% in just a few years." What makes that so ridiculously funny is no less than two members of the Assembly will be attending the rally. The bill has cleared the State Assembly 76-0, by the way.

Personally, I'm thinking that if California didn't tax anything and everything under the sun so exorbitantly, this might not be such an issue. Just throwing that out there.

Where does Danny Glover fit in, you ask? Mr. Glover is a well-known ultra-liberal, as in Barbra Streisand and Sean Penn ultra-liberal. This is the same man who has repeatedly spoken in support of the communist government of Venezuela, most recently in March of this year. Doesn't really sound like a "tax break" kind of guy, does he?

Think about that for a second - a man who actively supports one of the most repressive governments in the world now wants tax breaks from one of the most repressive, and regressive, state governments in the country. I guess tax breaks are only good when the ridiculously high taxes affect the "make-believe" industry. You and I, on the other hand, have to pay more, more, More, MORE.

I guess it really shouldn't surprise anyone, though. Liberals are the quintessential "Do as I say, not as I do" hypocrites. The vast majority of liberals don't give as much to charities as conservatives, in either time or money, yet they're perfectly fine with the forced "charity" of government programs.

The irony of this is truly delicious, but the hypocrisy just turns my stomach. ~ Hunter
