Obama's Debt Is OUR Problem, And Our Kid's, And Their Kids', And Their...

These are the numbers on the debt this nation has accumulated since the Vapid Vacationer assumed the presidency. I put them together so you'd have the facts on hand just in case you still have liberal friends (why?) who say King DingleBarry's been fiscally responsible (you have no idea how much I was laughing when I typed that).

On 20 JAN 09, the day the Constant Campaigner was Immaculately Inaugurated, the public debt stood at $6,307,310,739,681.66. Intragovernmental debt, the debt that one part of the government owes another part (like when Social Security gets raided), stood at $4,319,566,309,231.42 . Total debt the United States owed was $10,626,877,048,913.08. Remember, that last number, scary enough on its own, was the total debt rung up by all forty-three presidents prior to President Stompy Feet.

As of 03 APR 14, public debt stands at $12,602,148,792,037.21, for an increase of $6,294,838,052,355.55. Intragovernmental debt was $4,952,629,878,252.12, for a “modest” increase of a mere $633,063,569,020.70. Total debt was $17,554,778,670,289.33 , for a stunning increase of.............................................. wait for it …..................................$6,927,901,621,376.25.

That's six million, nine hundred twenty-seven thousand, nine hundred one million millions.

By the way, has anyone else noticed how closely the total increase in debt mirrors the public increase in debt? Still think that it isn't us, our kids, their kids, and their kids' kids picking up this tab?

That's an average of $1,385,580,324,275.25 added to this nation's debt – per year, every year - for 5 years (I'm rounding off, so cut me some slack). If he never spends a penny more than that per year for the next 3 years, which I know is just very wishful thinking, the total debt will stand at $21,711,519,643,115.08, give or take a few hundred billion. Just let that last number roll around in your mind for a couple minutes. I'll wait...

Nearly twenty-two TRILLION dollars. Not even the Unites States - the richest nation in the history of this planet – has those kind of assets.

Now, think about this: When the Head Jackass finally, thankfully leaves office (hopefully), he will have spent more in 8 years than the 1st “George W” through the 2nd “George W” did across the *220* years before he took office combined. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is something which should worry you greatly...

Some day, someone's going to call the loans. Then what do we do? ~ Hunter
